Man, the things I could do with this. Eventually, when the house is paid off, I will be looking for a project car. Do I really have to wait 5 more years before I can do this? This looks pretty solid. Just sand it all down and repaint it, give it a good cleaning and get it up and running. All that, and an extra motor, for $2,300? I would jump on this if I were in the position to do so.

Maryland. I'm actually buying the house off my uncle, who owns it, and my family lived in it. They owed him $30,000 on it, and tried to sell it. I took on the loan, and I'm paying him back over the next 5 years for it. It's not bank-financed or anything like that. It's just $30,000, no interest. Well, technically $34k, because he paid to have a new porch/deck installed, so I'm paying that back as well.

You don't even want to know what a house costs out here in San Diego.

Oh, I can imagine they're not cheap. I got extremely lucky, because most 2br houses under 2000 sqft are around $60k here in Western MD, but my house is a 5br, almost 3500 sqft, but it's over 100 years old, and needs a lot of work. It's definitely livable, but it isn't a trophy house yet. I'll have to sink thousands of dollars into it for that.

Sounds like a decent deal, your house that is. Put your money in that. :)

Even $60 is a freakin bargain in my mind. The median house in San Diego is something like $510K, and those are nothing special. Where I'm from though, you could buy a freakin' mansion for that much.

I'd consider the Cutlass, but I'd buy it immediately if it was a 442.

Common places for rust are the rear quarters around the fender well.

The trunkpan and floorpans rust out quick as soon as the weatherstripping goes bad.

The the lower front fenders near the doors rust out when leaves fall down in them along with the dash cowl.

Rocket 350s don't have any problems unless theyve been fucked with.

It might have had a vinyl top at one point, those cause many problems around the rear window.
